Cowboy Church was established in Elgin in 1999 with Paul Lutz as Pastor. In 2006 the Church relocated to its new building and location on US Highway 62 south of Apache, and became the Cowboy Church HWY 62. We held first services in October 2006 in our newly built facility where Paul Lutz remained Pastor until fall 2017; he and his family returned to his native land in Texas. God sent us Dr. Dale Linebaugh, who accepted the position as Pastor in the August of 2018. We continue to share & study the Word of God as written in the Bible. We welcome everyone as we continue to grow in Christ and fellowship. The Cowboy Church Band leads us in worship through music. Coffee is on, with Hot Cocoa or Lemonade & Baked Goods fresh out of the oven on the small Chuck wagon waiting to welcome you. Our Motto is “A Balanced Diet is a pastry in each Hand” You'll be greeted with smiling faces; handshakes and a hug or two, every Sunday. We welcome you to Come, Come, Come Ride with the Brand.

Jesus Christ is the head of the Cowboy Church. Yet, while we are still human, The Elders oversee and guide the spiritual life of our church body, guard the truth of our teaching and provide encouragement to individuals.
